How many teams are there in IPL?


As per my previous update, the Indian Premier League (IPL) usually consists of eight teams. However, the number of teams may increase or decrease depending on the expansion or change by the IPL Governing Council. It is always a good idea to verify the current number of teams directly from an updated source as the IPL may have evolved since my last update.
